Oodles of Babies!

I am really starting to notice how everyone around me seems to be pregnant (or have young children). These are people MY age and YOUNGER! I am starting to feel "old" here...it's hard to imagine myself as potentially being a "mom", but I guess this really is the right time frame! Elliot has been ready to be a "dad" I think since the day we got married! Me, a little less so, but I have to admit the maternal instinct starts to get more pronounced every day, especially when everybody else has little ones growing! Guess we will see how things go but we may consider making big (or "little") changes in the near future...

Obsessed with Wii!

OK, so Elliot and I now have a new Wii, which were able to get for "free" after cashing in our BB&T Visa credit card points. The Wii is super fun, and I am totally obsessed! I haven't really played video games since my original Nintendo system back in the mid-80's (hello, classic Super Mario Bros!) Right now, the only games we have are Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Big Beach Sports, but I want to get lots more! Especially, I want Wii Fit since I think I would have more fun working out and attempting to lose weight if I were actually fooling myself into thinking that I'm playing a video game! Anyway, the games we have now will have to suffice for a while because new games are expensive! If any of you fellow wii-ers out there have games you'd like to lend us, please let us know! We can swap games! Also, I really want to try out the Mii Parade and the Wii Message Board, so I need to register some Wii friends! Send me your Wii number and I'll see if I can figure out ours so we can interact through the Wii console!

New Computer

Well, my new computer should be arriving today! I can't wait to get it set up and start customizing it the way I like it. I am still slightly bummed that I ruined my one-year-old pink Dell laptop by spilling a full cup of coffee on the keyboard! Sigh... Oh, well, I guess accidents happen, but I hate to start the New Year off with a $1,000 mistake! And of course, I had just finished uploading my entire CD collection onto my poor laptop for syncing with my new iPhone. I was planning to backup the iTunes library this week, but no chance of that now...

Anyway, my BRAND NEW computer is a desktop with a flat screen monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse! Elliot found me a great deal online price-wise! I hope it is waiting for me when I get home from work today so I can start re-uploading my CD collection to iTunes (this time I will backup every hour or so :-P). Until I get it up and running, the iPhone will have to do!
